Poetry from the Heart

I’ll read poetry of the greats of all ages, from the 13th century mystic Rumi to our contemporaries Rita Dove and Billy Collins. We’ll have a short (10 minute) writing exercise to give you the chance to try your hand at poetry. And I’ll read a few of my own poems as well. It’s my third “Conversations and Coffee” at the Cultural Arts Center, Thursday, September 22, 12 noon-1pm. It’s free and everyone’s welcome!
